So much better than reviewing with an organic chemistry textbook...

An excellent, clear, and concise review of the important functional groups, with an eye towards medicinal chemistry and pharmacology. It was assigned reading for my Principles of Drug Action class, and I highly recommend it to anyone needing to brush up on some old O-Chem knowledge in preparation for a more advanced chemistry-related drugs course. The CD accompaniment is a useful aid as well, if you read closely, answer the practice problems in the text, and check your answers, as well as going through the problem sets in the CD, you'll be right as rain for any discussion of drug-receptor interactions and in vivo metabolism.
